Question About my crown leather

When I wake up the leather has good color but is a little shrunk. When the lights come on it starts to grow then by 2:00 o'clock it is huge and has all of it's polyps out. But by 6:00 it has shriveled to nothing and the color is gone. The Lights are on from 9:00-9:00. Can someone explain what is wrong?

if it's a recent addition i'd say it's just that it still 'remembers' its prior photoperiod and it will eventually adjust. my photoperiod runs from 12PM to 11PM to mirror most LFS. (and that's when i happen to be available to view it anyway)

 

but if it's a recent phenomena that just started, you're screwed.

it may be reacting to another coral/plant's bio-cycle. i would guess on the first option tho from what you described.
