Hi All!

Well due to really tight finances, I'm looking for a really inexpensive ballast/fixture for my 20 gallon, and I'm really confused by the info on the home depot ballasts. What fixures may work, or how do you decifer the info on the ballasts?

I was considering a 2 x 55 for the fixture, but I'm open to suggestions....

If PC the ballasts sorta Suck because they don't work very well inless you Create a gravity plane. The problem i am having right now with my 2-28watt PC's.

I was mostly refering to PC, but I'd consider some of the T8 or T12 ballasts, if appropriate lights can be purchased for them...

So for all of you w/ HD ballasts, how did you pick your ballast, and what one(s) are you using?

Get one of these http://www.fulham.com/wh5.html It will dive 2 55watt power compacts, or overdrive NO fluorescents. I just got a quote of $34 and that's CND. They don't get any cheaper, these ballasts rock. I had a workhorse 7 overdriving two 4' over my old 75gal. The light was more intense than 220watts of VHO.
