jfish
ok well i cant seem to get my 2.5 the way i like it so i was thinking of getting a sheet of black acylic and placing it in one of the betta dividers in the tank and make 1/3 of the tank a fuge, i thought that sence i mostly look at it from the short side it would make the tank more square and better looking, it would be lit with the main light and i will put a small pump(any ideas??)in and make teeth at the top for a survace skimmer, but is there any baffels ect i should do or anything? i dont know if i will put LR or more sand back there sence the tank is cycled already and i would like too add stuff right after i do the fuge ect. has anyone done this? and did make a diffrence with algea, nitrates ect? right now iam just brain storming and thinking but i think it might look good! any impute on my idea would be great, thanks! coralbuff
Check out my bookshelf<5gal pico thread. The early parts show how I constructed filter compartments in the ends of a Betta tank. It might help you with some design Ideas. Thanks and Good Luck, coralbuff Link to comment
