Six
Hi. are you asking how to get rid of them? Who's "she"? Sorry, but im not sure what youre asking. did you know that xzooanthallae is a dinoflagelette? just a bit of trivia for you. i guess that i mean to say that anything to get rid of dinoflagelettes may do more than you wanted. my old dorky sig bar: If you have diatom algae, well, if your tank is under 3 months, thats totally normal. A Ca reactor will help regardless. Dosing Calcium and maintaining high KH will go far to fight it. GL Link to comment
aquaman7
takayan... many photosynthetic dinoflagellates are a source of food for many marine organisms, however certain species of dinoflagellates are known for their deadly blooms often known as red tides (example: Gymnodium brevis) this wouldn't happen in your tank... I'm sorry... but I also don't fully understand your inquiry. six... that old sig bar is awesome... I'm dead serious, cracks me up ! Link to comment
