travoose
Should spin a new tube. Nothing to worry about IMO. Link to comment
travoose
Good question. I've had mine jump out once and it landed between rocks and I thought it was a goner. Then three weeks later I noticed it coming out from between the rocks with a new tube. Sorry I can't offer anymore help. Anyone else out there wanna give a suggestion? Link to comment
Six
feather dusters are worms. the "slug" is the animal. They do not "spin" anything, they collect detritus and form anew tube. if your tank is too new, meaning there is no detritus, the evactuation from the tube could lead to death for the animal. There really isnt anything you can do but wait and see if it recoups. i would not add a feather duster to a tank under 6 months old. they are filter feeders and are actually fond of "dirty" tanks (read: detritus, not high nitrate).
