XsploveReefin Posted January 24, 2003 Share Posted January 24, 2003 I moved my 5.5gallons liverock and inhabitanats into there new 18 gallon cube home foe good i took about 4 cups of the sand from the old tank and put it in with the 20 mpunds of Arogonite sand to give it life and all the liverock And the corals I am pretty confidente there is not going to be a cycle. Physh1 Posted January 24, 2003 Share Posted January 24, 2003 Should be ok. Did you add more rock to the system? If you added more new rock than it's possible a small cycle will occur. A small cycle may occur also if you used all new water instead of using old plus new water. Cameron Link to comment

While I was gone to TN, the pump I was using with it failed, but that is ok, I had another one, so my water level only dropped a little, but it was not the switches fault. When I hooked up the new pump, it filled it back up within mins. Thanx again! Link to comment
