16by16by16 Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 Just wanted to get some honest thoughts on adding a 175 watt/2-36 watt blue pc lamp 8 to 10" above my 18 gal tank, which measures 16"by16"by16". The prism pendant measures 16 1/2" by 13" by 6". Does anyone think thats to much wattage and that i'll cook the corals??? Link to comment

jafoca Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 I use 150W HQI halide, 8 inches off the tank or so. 150w HQI is about equal to 175w single end... Also, I'm going to be adding 1x 65 watt PC actinic light. Link to comment
