I have drawn out some plans for the hood, and want to know what you guys think. 1. 250w 10000k Metal Halide bulb on mogul socket 2. 55w Actinic PC 3. 55w Actinic PC 4. Fan, pulling air into the hood 5. Fan, pulling air out of the hood. I would make the hood out of Oak, stain it dark, and mount a stainless steel reflector on the inside. Also, UV glass would be added beneath the lights and the water. It would be about 8" high from the water. Any thoughts? Link to comment

I've heard that you should have both fans blowing into the hood with the exaust going out the back. This is to get more cool air into the hood and it will aslo extend the life of the fans.
