MegaDeTH Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Playing around with my new toy, 25 $ in parts to reverse a 50mm lens on top of my macro lens dof is absolutly horrible, but you can get some nice closeups if you can get real close to your subject this shows how bad the dof is in this setup, f3.8 on it dof sample i would say about 3/4 a mm dof at f3.8 Link to comment

So you have you macro lense on your camera like normal then the 50mm reversed attach to that? yep, you get softer pictures, and very very poor DOF, but really good magnification, and you can get extreemly close to the subject, it'll focus all the way to touching the lens Link to comment
