cenzo
Im looking into a Colony Polyp for my 3 gal my question is can I have this in a 3gal with a 13watts PC some sites say it need lots of light then I see that the yellow Colony Polyp needs moderate light? Link to comment
sjpresley
Polyps don't require that much light, if you could squeeze in another 13 W that would be great, but polyps or mushrooms as well as some small aposymbiotic corals would probably do fine. Link to comment
harbingerofthefish
I have mine colony about 1/3 the way up in my tank (7 gal with 32 watts PC) seem to be doing fine. I looked at a lot of members tanks before I got them, to see where they were placed according to others set-ups. A lot of difference here and there. IMO they should be fine in your tank. p.s. coolest thing I ve seen so far...my pods like to hang out on my polyps "stems". One got a little to close one day and YOINK! tenacles wrapped around him and pulled him in. The little pod struggled for a while the the polyp won. Link to comment
