jojopus
saw this on e-bay....unfortunately it comes with a 4000k bulb. dunno if they make the higher kelvin bulbs in this size but it would be ideal for a small nano from 2 to 10 gallons. It would be cool to see that 'point source' ripple effect in a small tank. heres the link - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5&category=3212 Link to comment

jojopus
My thoughts exactly Cam, I looked around the internet for a 50 watt in a higher color temp but there are none to be found. They only seem to come in the 3000k and 4000k range. Perhaps when the nano keeping hobby expands a bit there will be manufacturers out there who will begin to develop the 39 and 50 watt halide bulbs with higher color temps. Until then i guess those who just have to have halide can only go as low as 70 watt double ended. Link to comment
