why so many inverts and so little fish?

Everywhere I've read has said that you can pretty much pile as many shrimp, snails, hermits, etc in your tank..... but, 1 or 2 fish for a small nano?

Fish= mucho waste

inverts= next to nothing

 

In a small reef, the idea is to keep nutrient levels as low as possible. Most of us find it more appealing to have an invert-focused system anyway. Therefore... keep the fish to a minimum and cram in the corals.
