help me with this

Hey,

 

I was just talking to a friend of mine today (he has had a reef tank in the past), and he said something about using pvc piping at the bottom of a tank then covering it in egg creat. the placing u LS and LR ontop.

 

 

He said that this will help with filtration, giving an area for aleage and different organisims to live.

 

Have u ever heard of this b4???

Thats a called a plenum system..if you want to look it up. Most people don't run them anymore (they can be a PITA)...most people just rely on their sandbeds and LR for filtration.
