cpreefguy
First off, I did use the search feature, but couldn't find a thread for my specific question. My tank has been up and running for a little over 2 weeks now. I used about 7 lbs. of sand from my established tank, and about half a cup of water form my established tank. I added LR 4 days ago, it didn't look like there was much to "die off". I tested the water yesterday, and here were the results I got: pH: 8.2 Nitrite: 0 ppm Ammonia: 0 ppm Nitrate: 10 ppm Does this mean my tank is already cycled, or does it mean I have not realized my ammonia spike yet? Thanks. Link to comment
ross76053
Was the live rock you added from your established tank as well? If so, you're probably already cycled. If you had it shipped in, you've probably got a way to go. Link to comment
cpreefguy
Yeah, I added tonga live rock that I ordered online. So, you are probably right. It's ok though, I'm still recovering from when I totaled up how much I've already spent.:*( Thanks. Link to comment
