MWehr76364
I am new at this so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have an eclipse 6 system running right now. I have about 5lbs of rock in it w/ a powerglow bulb as was wondering what types of corals you all would recommend. I have nothing in there right now except rock, peppermint shrimp, and a blue damsel which will be leaving here soon as I am planning on putting a couple clowns in it. Thanks Mike W Link to comment

SoS
Just did a search on the powerglow bulb. you can add really nothing. That's an 8 watt bulb. What most poeple do with that tank is pull that fixture out and replace the light with a powercompact system. You might be able to mushrooms maybe a ricordea but I don't think its a good idea. They might survive but never thrive. Hello Lights sells nice retrofits that might fit that system. I've purchased there lights and have had very good results. There 50/50 10K actinic lights would be idea for a tank that small. I'm not sure of the dimensions. But I say minimum 18 watts of 50/50 Power compact. Link to comment
