fluiddude
Hi, I'm new to the saltwater game and had a few questions, maybe someone could help me. I have a 10 gallon nano that has been up and running for almost 3 months. I have these real small(1/4") shrimp all over in my tank, they are red or brown with a small white spot close to the head. what are they? good or bad guys. I also have alot of pink bristle worms, but I understand they're not really bad guys right? how about a worm that bores holes in the rock? I guess I was just wondering if all these bugs and worms are normal. I don't think The first batch of live rock I got was the best in the world and want to make sure The tank is safe before I put corals in(only shrooms now). Thanks, John Link to comment
Xavier
if you have a digital cam.. try to get a pic of those shrimp.. everything else seems natural. Link to comment
Tracker
Sounds like adult brine shrimp, I just started a 10 gal on the 1st and I haven't seen any brisstle worms yet but would welcome them and anything else that would stir the sand and eat leftovers. Link to comment
