Centrek
I've got a couple projects in front of me... first, probably the most important, my skimmer broke and now i need to fix it. There's just a tube that broke off, so i need to stick it back in and glue it in place. What kind of glues do you use for joining acrylic? K, and as for nanos, i've seen a few people with these tanks: What lights have you guys put in there? I'd make a new canopy for it, but the one that the guy made for it when he made the tank is so nice! I really like how it looks. I was thinking of sticking 1, maybe 2, power quad retros in that hood. Then i'd get a few of those CPU fans and have them sucking the air out. Only problem is the bulbs are a little too long, so i'd have to do some cutting, but i think it'd look real nice if it was done. Anyways, what kind of lights are u running on this beast? Thanks for your input all! matt Link to comment

wetworx101
I know what I'd do...I would cut a 10" hole or so in the top and suspend a 175w pendant over the tank a la coralife. That would look good and be great light for the lowest cost possible. The black pendant hovering over the top would look cool, stay cool itself, not melt the hood, and give plenty of light... Sarnack
Hey, I have that tank with the original acrylic hood and a CSL 2x32 retro. There is room for more and I plan on adding more later. There are 3 other people that I know of with this tank: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...=&threadid=2833 http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...s=&threadid=938 http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...=&threadid=4126 Lighting is listed in each of the threads.
