It is 2.5 " around when fully opened up and is pinkish purple with BRIGHT green tips on the short tentacles. Is it photosentic? (or what ever it means whenthey use light only to grow) Or do i feed it marine snow? Link to comment
ross76053 Posted January 12, 2003 Share Posted January 12, 2003 Most mushrooms rely on light for most of their "feeding" - the rest they'll absorb from the water. You don't need to specifically feed your mushroom. Although if you ever get a Ricordea mushroom (my favorite), they'll eat just about anything - and it's fun to watch. They have a mouth in the center that can stretch to about five times it's normal size (sorta like me when I drink too much). Link to comment
