chem_fun
As I've been looking at the aquavase, and I was searching for a unique gift for a buddy that has a thing for USB, I came upon this. http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/6984/ Has anyone looked into it? Without spending the money, I'm wondering what the pump is like, and if one could modify the lights to put say, zoanthids in the 1 cup aquarium. -Scott Link to comment
mickey85
There's a guy that made a minibow into a computer...he took a hard drive and stuck it in the base of a 5G (I think). WOrks perfectly, but he doesn't want to use it much, because the water changes would fry the puter if you're not careful. Link to comment
formerly icyuodd/icyoud2
does your buddy have another salt water tank? if he did, i'd say give it a try. if not, keeping anything alive in that tank would be tough. he probably have to fill it every day with water from his main tank. what about just a hermitt and some macro algae? Surfzup2k4
Could probably do some GSP in there. It could habdle the temp flux. and the lack of lighting. Link to comment
jane of baden
First thing I thought, too, when I got the catalogue.. however, after reviewing it and everything I decided it would pretty much be inhumane to keep much in it. Mushies would be cool though- just too much water-changing or DIY would have to go into it *shrugs* If you're all good at DIY/tech-type stuff, go for it! Link to comment
