channah
My colt seemed to split last week. The one half is doing okay, but is still shriveled a little, but the other half looks terrible! I did have a hard time placing it in the aquarium, when I relocated it. I could get on any Lr at first. Did I kill it? Link to comment
tinyreef
should be fine depending on your overall tank conditions (i assume they're optimal from the coral's growth). the reproduction/splitting is traumatic (assuming it wasn't forced, i.e. cutting, which is even more so) so it being shrivelled a little is normal. you may want dose a little iodine for antiseptic purposes (as well as oxidation/reductive?) as the colt is probably producing some slime as a normal reaction and highly suspectible to bacteria ime. make sure there's a gentle breeze of current on it for circulation and feeding (but don't feed it manually imo). it should begin to look better in a couple of days.
