AZDesertRat Posted January 7, 2003 Share Posted January 7, 2003 For those of us not able to get Southdown at a reasonable price here in the southwest what do you suggest? I am looking at my 20G nano as well as a 90G FOWLR and a 135G too. I would go broke buying the aragonite reef sand at my LFS. Home Depots aroud here do have a play sand which I am sure is silica based but it is a really bright white, clean and pretty uniform in size. I know not as good but it is affordable until I can talk a relative into delivering me Southdown from Mansfield Ohio if there is still any there. Link to comment
