I have read to cut small trianglular shaped peices off and band them to a peice of gravel? Is this correct? What size should I begin propogation? I only have two and I want to make more from the two I have. Any and all informationon the subject greatly apreciated! Link to comment
luv2jeep Posted January 7, 2003 Share Posted January 7, 2003 The pie method has about a 50% mortality rate. As suggested by Anthony Calfo, make a single radial cut from the mouth to the mantle. It should "bud" along the cut and produce 3-4 more shrooms. Link to comment
Twins Guy Posted January 7, 2003 Share Posted January 7, 2003 i just did this last week after reading calfo's book. the shrooms seem to be healing-we'll see if any buds develop. cross your fingers! make sure to use a new razor or scalpel blade. Link to comment
