lil reef Posted January 6, 2003 Share Posted January 6, 2003 I just ordered my first corals for my 7 gal. nano. Firstly, I'm nervous because I have never ordered livestock online, and its pretty easy "enhance" a picture on the computer. I ordered a colored hammer, 2 different ricordias, and some Tonga Blue mushrooms. My tank has been set up since August and all parameters are testing out fine. Current tank inhabitants are 2 Percs, 4 snails and 7 hermits. I am running a 32W smartlite and this is where my major concern lies. Will the 32W be enough for these corals? Will there colors change under this lighting? I have a 2 X 32W fixture that I could put on in place of the 32W smartlite. All the inhabitants of this tank will be moving to a 28 gal. BF in about a month or two. That tank will have 225 or 300W of VHO on a Solar 1000 dimmer. Will they handle the change in intensity OK? TIA Link to comment
