try myreefcreations.com, his mrc series are also basically euroclones imo. but a couple of hundred less. i'm running the mrc-2. a plus, his units have modularity/upgradeability.

 

i love aquac but these are a totally different class of skimmers. you're not going to be able to effectively compare remoras and urchins to the deltecs and euros. maybe his ev series but i've heard they do not compare well (no pers exp with those tho).

i vote deltec hob...pricy yes...but a very well made skimmer that pulls the nastiest funk out of the tank. i dont have one but know people who do and if i didnt have a euro reef already id be lookin to get the deltec

:chants: Deltec Deltec deltec :chants: ....that is the one im getting..lol.....you do know that it is rated for a 190g. tank...so bassically you cqn (not taking iinto consideration of aggression) but you will be able to push the stoccking list a little bit more...i mean..its not that unafordable....:chants: Deltec deltec deltec :chants:

Yes they are pricey but well worth the investment. This is one area you don't want to go cheap...

Why not a Remora? Under $180 with a MJ1200 and drain fitting..

Geez.. how big is your tank anyway? I guess if you want to compete with the Deltec HOB in the 100+ gallons range you would need the larger Remora.. still a good deal with a Mag pump and drain for about $240
