CmApEs13
mickey- isnt it hard to clean. i bought cicla sand at the start of my saltwater career and it turned this nasty marron and brown color and was so hard to clean??? or can i just use crushed coral because i am having a goby/pistol shrimp pair and was wondering if just crushed coral would work fine??? schaadrak
I don't think crushed coral would hurt either one of them , but aragonite sand is finer than crushed coral if that's what your looking for. P.S.- Silica sand fuels supposedly fuels diatoms, which is probably what the maroon/brown color was. Link to comment
