tdkarl
I bought this oceans blend part 1 calcium and part 2 pH/ALK supplements. But the directions are a little fuzzy, it says optimal dosage: Test Calicium and alkalinity levels. Dose up to 1 ml per gal in 24 hours till calcium reaches 400 - 450 ppm and 3-4 meg/L alkalinity. Every alk test I have seen measures in ppm and not meg/L. How do I convert my alk measurement of ppm to meg/L? Doesn't make any sense to me. I am not even sure what meg/L is? Link to comment

samstersam
Every alk test I have seen measures in ppm and not meg/L. Are you sure you aren't confusing PPM readings for CALC? Are you sure you aren't confusing DKH or meq/L for Alk? Lets clear that up before anything else. Link to comment
