I just noticed today that my percula clown was itching his head against the rock. Is there a good medicine that will treat the fish and not harm my coral? I dont have a medic tank:(

My mamo (seargent major damsel) all of a sudden was covered in ich. (Came home and - ARRRGH!) No meds in the house, I was Fareeeking. Went to the boards and found:

1. Reduce specific gravity, or

2. Garlic oil extract

Too lazy and scared to do a massive water change w/ fresh water, I decided that garlic was the way... but no garlic oil extract in the house.

Opened the fridge and found a mostly empty bottle of minced garlic. Spooned a bit into a ziplock baggie w/ some frozen raw salmon. Mashed everything together and let thaw.

Fed some pieces to the mamo an hour later. Turned off the lights and went to sleep.

Woke up, checked the tank for a dead little fishy and found the little guy all spry and parasite free!!!

Garlic. Works. Cheap. Try it.
