What are floss and micron sheets, where can i get some, and how do they work?

Filter media.... used to catch large particles. Material like that needs to be changed out reguarly or items caught up in it decomposing will have an adverse effect on your water quality, kinda defeating the purpose of having it to begin with.

Not often used in a reef set up, why were you looking for it?
