picotank
Can somebody tell me what kind of lighting I would need for a 5 gallon minibow reef tank? Can you include a link to a page were I could get one. Thanks Link to comment
driftfc
it really depends on what you want to keep in there. i think you would be alright with a 50/65w pc for softies and stuff like that. my opinion though is to go with more lighting, iii have 40w on a 2.5, and 176w on my 18g. hello lights is a good place for lights http://www.hellolights.com Link to comment
Casabubu
I think you could get away with as little as 36w of light for softies. Link to comment

picotank
I know. I mean I cant find one that would fit a Mini-Bow 5. What are some lights that would? Link to comment
Orange Crush
You don't need that much light for a softie tank. I had 32w pc over my 7 gallon minibow. Softies and LPS both were fine. My frogspawn flourished. I don't know what lighting would fit your tank, but I don't want you to think that you need way more than you do, unless you're planning on SPS. Too much lighting is overkill, and will also prevent your corals from reaching their full potential. Link to comment
