Kendra
I have a tiny anemone, probably 3 mm with its tentacles extended. It is not rust colored and has no visible stalk. It is sprouting out of my live rock. It resembles a tiny curlycue anemone- its tentacles are transparent, colorless, and white banded. The rock is from Figi. Is it a tiny albino aptasia? Or something else? Should I let it be, or mercilessly hunt it down with syringe & boiling water? Thanks, Kendra PS- New hitchhiker today- a Stomatella varia! Link to comment

ross76053
Before you do any hunting, please post a pic for a positive ID. I'd hate for you to kill something that's beneficial, or that would be a good inhabitant for your tank. If you don't have a camera, borrow one. Link to comment
Kendra
No camara, but I'll see what I can do. . . for the time being, maybe just see if it multiplies. Thanks, Kendra Link to comment
