Almost all epoxies, notice I said ALMOST, although quite nasty when in their original forms are for the most part completely inert once they are fully cured. There are certain polyester resins and epoxies that only cure properly if deprived of oxygen thus they have a wax type substance that comes to the surface to basically seal off the stuff. Good rule of thumb... look at the directions/instructions/recommendations statements on the packaging. If it's food safe it's reef safe. Not all will say whether it's okay or not for any applications concerning exposure to food or potable water... but you can be 99.9% sure if it's NOT okay they will say so. Um, it's late, I'm tired and 4 days down and 4 to go before reclaiming my home from da in-law's... I hope that made sense,hehe Link to comment
