Blood shrimp alive?

Hi everyone,

 

I just recieved a blood shrimp from mail order today and it arrived molting and not moving at all. Is it dead or does it not move at all when molting?

Please help.........if you think he's dead, I want to throw him out before he fouls up the water..:*(

if its not moving at all then its probably dead. sometimes they will die while molting if there isnt enough iodine in the water.
