No as for the pics, I can make heads or tail of them guy? I think I see what your meaning in the 1st but niether are detailed enough for me to make a posetive id on anything. can you possibly get a more in focused pic? Try turning the tank lights out and taking a pics with just the flash. Usualy produces MUCH more detailed and clearer pics. Link to comment

Caesar777 Posted September 14, 2005 Share Posted September 14, 2005 Are they really soft and flowy or kind of tough? The former, I'd say bryopsis or some other nasty algae; the latter, I'd say "red feather kelp", not true kelp but a nice macro of some kind. Link to comment

So I would say hardy. Plus the brown stuff (diatoms. correct?) is starting to cover it. If that helps....Thanks Link to comment
