fliberdygibits
I just discovered last night that my 3 gallon has what I THINK is a baby starfish cruising around like he's in Daddy's T_Bird. He is a teeny tiny grey/white with 6 legs, 2 slightly bigger, so I think he is still growing like crazy. Is there any extra considerations I need to make for a tank with a starfish compared to one without? Thanks. Link to comment
ricknbecky
He sounds like a perfectly harmless addition to the cleaner crew. I would let him be at this stage he will only eat detritus any ways. Link to comment
LiQuiD
does it look like one of these? If so, catch it and nuke it! It will eat and kill your coral. for more info, click here The 2 longer legs thing got me to thinking, I knew I remembered reading about these nasty little buggers. Good luck Link to comment
LiQuiD
BTW, even one the size of a dime, will do serious damage in a 3 gallon reef. Link to comment
reef hugger
it is most likely a harmless alge eater. i would keep an eye on him though. it is possible it might be a coral eater, but i doubt it. i have many of those and haven't any problems yet. Link to comment
