NicksAcrylicReef
I finely got my little work pico tank going. Its 1.9 Gal completely DIY acrylic tank complete with acrylic hood w/ enclosed electrical compartment and an acrylic ring to go around the bottom to hide the stryfoam its sitting on. It has a minijet 404 pump for circulation, a 50 watt titanium heater and a 20 Watt 50/50 compact florecent bulb. I set it up for auto topoff however my float switch was busted so I have a new one comming. Here are some shots tell me what you think. http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/showphoto...o=15286&cat=500 http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/showphoto...o=15288&cat=500 http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/showphoto...o=15287&cat=500 http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/showphoto...o=15289&cat=500 http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/showphoto...o=15290&cat=500 Link to comment
ADough
I like it. The double sided veiwing is a definite plus. Where did you get the short 50/50 20watt? I'd like to put two of those on my 2.5 Link to comment
NicksAcrylicReef
ITs one of those screw in bulbs made by Coralife. I picked it up at a LFS but Dr Foster & Smith has them. Link to comment
ADough
Your 50/50 is unusual, as opposed to the standard 2 yours has 4. Making it half the size of the ones I have seen. Link to comment
