I need ideas for return??

OK I have 2 holes drilled in the back for my 24G nano (drain 1" and return 1/2")

 

the drain is set at the bottom of the 3rd chamber and all is fine.

 

However my return hole is off byabout 1/2" from the stock return.

I cant seem to find any way to connect the bulkhead hole on the back to the stock output on the false wall back.

 

Anyone with ideas or better yet pics would be greatly appreciated!
