kimura
I don't have a pic right now, but I've recently noticed that one of my emerald crabs has gotten BIG. Compared to the other one that I bought (purchased together, same size) This one seems to look like an entirely different crab! I've notice that he's now able to move some smaller rocks and he's bold enough to go out of the rocks and walk around the tank like he's king. Do you think I should trade him in for a smaller one? Or keep him? There's enough algae for him to live off of, I just concerned about his size. Link to comment
Crakeur
Ditch. I had too much trouble with mine re-scaping the tank on my behalf. Link to comment
Satchmo
Agreed with Crakeur. Mine never got big enough to move rocks, but he did develop a taste for xenia and had to go. Link to comment

kimura
Thanks for the advice guys. I don't know why he's gotten so big, while the other hasn't grown much at all! We'll gotta get wet todayX) Wish me luck:) Link to comment
Mnesarchus
Yeah I'll be fishing mine out of the tank this weekend. He's just getting to big and aggresive. I have been developing a technique for catching the little beast with some prongs. When I turn the lights out, he comes up and starts eating. If I try to catch him during the day, he scurries back into his hole. But at night, he can't even see me. My LFS is going to let me trade for 5 hermits. Link to comment
