frogspawn spitting brown stuff

Last couple of days my frogspawn has been spitting out long strands of stringy brown stuff. I did a search and found a post which described something similar and the consensus was that it was poop. However, I haven't fed my frogspawn in 10 days, so where does it get so much food in to poop that much? When it is pooping like that, it looks a little shrunk, but then expands again. Any ideas?

ah, I forgot to mention that this happens always at night about an hour before lights turn off.

Mine has done that since I've had it. I was told that he's takin' a dump... what's really gross is that I've actually seem other corals consume it. I had a bubble coral that did the same thing but not as often.

I have a frogspawn with 11 heads and growing that does this all the time. It is expellelling some of it's excess zooxanthellae. My purple tang eats lovess it.

My hairy mushroom does it all the time too. My banded coral shrimp eats it all up Its kind of sick to watch. :x
