Jigsaw's "Ocean-Free" 1 gallon cube

Well since my 2.5 that was in the works mysteriously sprung a leak, I decided to go shopping. Being only 16, I hitched a ride from my parents to Petco for a new tank, I wanted something smaller though so I went for this thing. Its the cube version of Ocean Free's betta aquariums. After my 2.5 leaked and my 10w bulb was fried due to dropping it into a bucket of water and scaring me to death . I decided on a better Idea, you'll see in the specs.

 

SPECS:

 

1 gallon cube from Ocean-Free: 13.99

Whisper Power Filter 10: 12.99

Thermometer: 1.99

Submersible Hydor 7.5 W heater: 14.99

Small kritter keeper turned fuge: free w/ Petco coupon

 

Bag of Black "Marine" brand sand: 4.99

 

27 Watt Power compact light c/o my grandfather who has tons of these for some reason : free

 

Inhabitants:

 

2 Red Leg Hermits: 1.99 each

2 types of shrooms: 3.99+ 7.99 (LR was 8 bucks with hitchhiker hairy shroom)

1.5 LB of live rock: 14.50

4 Vibex snails: (well me and my brother ordered 50 online but they were about .50 apiece so) about 2.00

 

Leather Finger Coral: also came with live rock as a hitchhiker

 

Misc Chaeto and LR rubble for fuge: 10.50 (around)

 

 

 

Parents mad that water leaked from old 2.5 gallon and almost ruined the carpet: Priceless

 

 

I also have my friend's tulip anemone in there, he never seems to want it back

I got it at Petco, it was like 14 dollars, its called a Super Betta Kit or something and comes with a cheap incadascent light. Its made by Ocean Free
