diverrk
Ok, I just added live rock to my tank. It's mostly cured from what I've been told. Anyway there seem sto be little feather duster looking things growing on two of the rocks. They are reall small see if anyone can figure out what they are. http://home.comcast.net/~richknudsen/rock1.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~richknudsen/rock2.jpg Link to comment

Caesar777
Actually, they look more like non-photosynthetic ball-tip anemones. What size are they? Probably not hydroids, BUT... Link to comment
diverrk
There is so damn many of them on the one rock ! I don't think I would want them to all grow . Link to comment
Caesar777
Put 'em under a light source, and they'll either move or die. They're easy to control, and since they don't like light, while most corals do, they shouldn't pose any problems. AND they're so cute. I had some nice orange ones, but they disappeared when I took out a rock to fragment off the Yumas, and I ended leaving it out of the setup cos it was too big and awkward. BUT the other night I found a half-dozen or so near the place where it was. They're darn hard to see; I think they were there the whole time! Link to comment
