jtown
I'm planning on setting up a refugium this winter and I have a bunch of questions. Any help would be appreciated. Setup ... 20L Main Tank 15G High Designer Tank Refugium - http://www.all-glass.com/products/aquarium...ms/designer.asp I plan on drilling the 15G so I can plumb it to overflow into the main tank. Here are my questions. 1. What size piping would be best? 1"? 2. What do I need to buy to do the piping myself assuming I have the holes drilled in my 15G? Where can I buy this stuff? Home Depot? 3. How should I connect the piping to my flexible tubing that will be in between the two tanks? Any specific type of tubing that I should use? 4. What configuration works best? I want it to be as quiet as possible which will mainly deal with the overflow in the refugium. Shouls the overflow be pointed straight up or should I have it just sticking out horizontally? In the 15G I plan on makin a wall of some sort so I can reduce the amount of water flow in the tank itself ... kind of how the aquafuge is set up. Thanks for any help! Link to comment
Glenn
Try here (R. Durso's website, the inventor/manufacturer of the Durso stand pipe): http://www.rl180reef.com/pages/standpipe/s...dpipe_frame.htm If you don't find the info on the site just e-mail him, he's quick to respond and pretty thorough.
