JazzcatCB
My 12G cube is running about 88-90 degrees day and night. There are no livestock apart from one hermit crab. I'm trying to figure out what to do to bring the temperature down. I thought of a clip-on fan, but 6" is the smallest I can find, and that would be too large to mount on my 12G. I found this small personal fan but I can't figure out how I would attach it to the tank. So I figured I'd tap into the creativity of this forum. Any ideas? I should mention that I really can't afford an ICA (not to mention that I have no way of cutting my splash guard to install it), and I'm not really sure how to install one of those computer fans (I think I'd have to cut up my hood anyway, which I don't have the tools or expertise to do) Link to comment

I would imagine that you don't have a hood on your tank. I could lift the hood when the lights are off to run the fan, but when I put the hood down when the lights come on, I am sure the temp will shoot back up to near-90s. Link to comment
