legodude
I got a new clown for my old smaller clown and he's been doing fine for about two weeks now: eating well, hosting in stuff, swimming all over. Today I was watching him and noticed what appears to be a greyish film of sorts over his eyes and body. Looks different from my other clown because of it. I did some research and found that it may be a bacterial infection? Any comments on other possible diseases/treatments? Thanks Mike Link to comment
Six
The new fish is sick? Are they bothering eachother at all? If not, that's good. Usually there's a temperment/sexual acclimation with clowns. What species do you have, the common percula/ocellaris type? It's taken 2 weeks for the film to appear? Usually this is just the slime layer, a sign that the fish is stressed by something on the skin or something in the water. I'd test the water and watch the fish for 'odd' behavior (I say 'odd' because clowns are oddly acting fish to begin with, lol!) GL! Link to comment
