the commish Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Can someone tell me how to remove the hood on a new 24 gallon nano cube. I need to make some mods but can't figure out how the hood comes off. Didn't see any screws on the hinges, and don't want to break anything. Link to comment
NanoBob Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 For my 2004 model you need to keep the hood closed and pull it towards you if you are in front of the tank. I have heard someone say, it's kinda like giving the tank a hug. It take some force and everytime I do it it scares the bejeezes out of me. good luck, Bob Link to comment

shao-lin nano Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 I removed my hood by lifting it up into the vertical position and then sliding it forward towards the front (bow) of the tank. Maybe both ways work. Link to comment
