JPF
I am upgrading my tank. WHich tank would you vote for: 20 Long, 29 or 28 bow front? Hints on lighting for soft corals for your choice would be helpful. Good lighting, not marginal lighting. I can build a custom hood for any of the three choices. I appreciate your time and opinions. My Alife 7
Hhmm... this is a tuff one... 20L are beautiful when set up but I love any and all types of bowfronts... I'd think I'd probably go for the 20L. Gives the fish more room to swim horizontally... Link to comment
HuBu
i m upgrading to a 29 gal. but i prefer a long better because theres more room, lengthwise, to decorate. Link to comment
lizbeth
I vote for the bowfront. I love 'em, I want one! Link to comment
Guest AbSoluTc
I got the 28 bowfront with built in overflow - it was an upgrade from the 20l. If I was you, DON'T do the 20l. You don't have any height. Sure its better for the fish, but the height on the 20l is just horrible. Link to comment
Strife
definately bowfront....i like the way it looks... and of course...its bigger....more stable environment for you Link to comment
reefinready
I would go bowfront all the way 20L is better for fish. 28 no contest and a good sump system. Link to comment
My Alife 7
I just thought of an idea... Do they make 20L Bowfronts? That to me would be the most beautiful tank ever!! Link to comment
byrself
20long, but i'm biased. i got an old 20 and it kinda bows in the front. Link to comment
