JazzcatCB
I'm assembling my 12G Nanocube stand. I screwed the cam-bolts all the way into the back panel, then attached a side panel. I discovered that the cam-bolt was not long enough. To get the cam to turn, I had to unscrew the cam-bolt about 1/8". Consequently, it is not firmly seated, and the panel wobbles about 1/4" in each direction after it's been attached. Is this typical? Should I worry that it will collapse with my tank on it? The bolts seem anchored well enough, it's just that they wobble slightly from side to side. Link to comment
shao-lin nano
When I assembled my NC 24 stand I had trouble aligning the bolts with the screw that anchors it down as well and the individual peices were a little wobbles a little as well. But when the whole thing was assembled, it all came together and was quite sturdy. Is your stand fully assembled and still wobbly? If so it could be a problem...try going to a local hardware store and pick up some L brace from the lumber section to reenforce the structure just in case. Link to comment
JazzcatCB
Thanks for your reply. Once I got the whole thing put together, it was much stronger, so it should be fine. Link to comment
