Pet-Lover
I know i dont even have a clean up crew or fish in my tank yet but i wanted to have your suggestions on what corals i should get and where to put then in my tank! i was thinking of getting a torch coral and a hammer bubble and a few shrooms first. heres a pic: theres already 2 hitchhiked corals you can see one of them but its hard to see the other Link to comment
bobioden
Since the Hammer and the Torch are in the same family I would get one or the other. Bob Link to comment

BoBoSkater
I would try some shrooms for your first coarl. Link to comment
steelhealr
Agree with BoBo...start off easy. Look at mushrooms, zoanthids and ricordea to start. If you support them, get your torch. SH Link to comment
Pet-Lover
thats what i was thinking shrooms will probably be the only soft coral i get though Link to comment
trumph
I would get at least one pumping/pulsing Xenia. Everyone who looks at my tank ends up focusing on them. You will see that corals are live animals as these critters are constantly grabbing for food. Mine even detached itself from the plug Liveaquaria shipped in on and grabbed a piece of live rock to live on and thrive. Plus they are hardy enough not to die on you, fairly easy to care for and add some much needed motion to your tank. Link to comment
shao-lin nano
I agree with bobioden that torch and hammer are similar and having one is enough but I have a frog spawn and hammer and enjoy having both. Link to comment
