DeskJockey
I was doing a search for engineer gobies and came across this article. Looking at the date I thought hmmmm I wonder. I got into reefing in early 98 and thought what the hell. After reading it I have to say I wish I read this back then. I notably like how he said his little tank was becoming his favorite tank:happy: Im probably opening flame season on myself here but I have to agree with just about everything he mentioned (just my opinion). Ive done much of what he did and its worked for me too. For all you newbies this is good reading. Not to technical just wrote like he.....saw it? "Is it the only way? Of course not. But, IMO, it¹s a good way." Link: http://www.reefs.org/library/members/e_bor...man_120898.html Link to comment

tinyreef
nice article. i'm more interested in the lost butt on his goby tho. ??? that would've been an interesting story on how he nursed that back to health. the iodine and strontium statement does concern me but if it works for him so be it. he does supplement iodine thru his foods tho as he himself says. : i also wonder how much substrate he replenishes annually. i'm pulling around 10# now and i DO dose. hmmm.
