fliberdygibits
I have stuff on a chunk of live rock that I bought that is slowly growing. It's not any kind of coral I have ever seen. It's stringy, as big around as a thick pencil lead and 2 or 3 inches long, grey in color fading to white in the last inch or so near the tip. The end just tapers down to a point. There are several of these that have been getting longer and spreading. they sway a bit in the currents like grass. If you get very close they look the tiniest bit translucent. Also, where they connect to and grow along the rock, they are thicker looking, like a root system on a tree. Any ideas? Link to comment
