Sirkbac
Picked up my my first frag (or any piece of coral) yesterday. $25 for the frag, has clove coral, Green star polups, Zoas, and this mystery coral on top (2 seperate disks). I believe it's ricordia.. or possibly a yuma.. eitherway, I didn't directly pay for them Link to comment

Sirkbac
Any special care needed for these guys? I've had a carpet anemone before, but it was about 1ft across. How easily will they reproduce? Link to comment
Sirkbac
Well, I know they like to eat shrimp....for instance my blood shrimp. I saw him on that rock and didn't think anything of it, but didn't want him standing on the mini carpets. Went to tap him off and I saw his legs wern't actually grabbing the rock, the larger of the 2 carpets had his abdomen and he was stuck. Once free he just floated to the bottom and landed upside down twitching. He's still alive but pretty stunned (makes 2 of us). After 10 mins he did move his legs and grab onto some near by rock, but otherwise is still stationary. Hopefully he'll avoid them from this point on. Link to comment
